Cinegaming - Gaming in the cinema

This is how CINEGAMING works

What you have to do, what you have to bring with you, what you have to know

You always book a complete cinema hall for you and your friends - no matter how many you are. Simply share the room rent, the cheaper it is per person - and then you can go “gaming in the cinema”.

Booking:

  • You choose the location, cinema, hall and date.
  • Then you choose the time (1 hour each) - you repeat the process for several hours (each hour is booked separately).
  • The minimum booking duration is 2 hours.
  • Booking can be made up to 10 days before the desired date.
  • At the end of the process you pay for your booking and receive a booking confirmation from the system.
  • We will contact your desired cinema to verify your booking. You will then receive your final appointment confirmation from us.
  • The booking is not transferable.

You have to know that:

  • On the day of the game, you register at the cinema 10-15 minutes before the start with your appointment confirmation.
  • In the hall, your console will be connected and the connection tested, then you can start straight away!
  • The counters for food and drinks are open during regular cinema hours.
  • If you would like to bring something with you, please discuss this with your cinema in advance.
  • The booking is exclusively for gaming; other uses (such as playing films) are not permitted.

What you need to bring:

  • Own console including HDMI, power cable and if necessary. Additional connection cables (or) your own PC with gamepad (mouse/keyboard are unfortunately not possible).
  • Controller for number of players.
  • Games you want to play.

Cancellation:

According to Section 312g Paragraph 2 No. 9 of the German Civil Code (BGB) for contracts relating to leisure activities, there is no right of cancellation for contracts relating to leisure activities (such as gaming in the cinema). However, we do offer our customers the option of cancellation. We do not charge any cancellation fees up to 4 weeks before the booked date. The cancellation fees are then tiered as follows: up to 3 weeks before the booked date = 10%, up to 2 weeks before the booked date = 25%, up to 1 week before the booked date = 50%, after this cancellation is no longer possible.
